Start your nursing journey with our Traditional BSN program, offered in both fall and spring. This 28-month, on-campus program blends classroom learning four days a week with hands-on clinicals one day a week鈥攏o summer, evening, or online classes.
As a lock-step program, you鈥檒l move through a set course sequence with your cohort, building skills step by step. Along the way, you鈥檒l train with cutting-edge technology and immersive simulations designed to boost your confidence and prepare you for the real world of nursing.

Our Traditional BSN program is a dynamic, 28-month experience. Students take courses on campus and gain real-world experience through clinicals one to two days a week at affiliated hospitals. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to pursue Departmental Honors in the major, adding distinction to your degree. This program also qualifies for the Navy's Military Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP).

We prepare students with the hands-on knowledge and skills needed to thrive in real-world healthcare settings. By incorporating cutting-edge technology鈥攊ncluding AI, virtual reality labs, telepresence robots, and realistic simulation scenarios鈥攚e ensure students are ready for the challenges of modern nursing.

Admissions Requirements
In order to be accepted to the Freshman Acceptance Program you must meet the following criteria:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Current JU Students: Completion of your JU Core curriculum satisfies this requirement and you may apply with a maximum of two incomplete Bachelor Core classes.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale
