爆走黑料's Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN-DNP) program prepares nurses for leadership roles in healthcare. Our program equips students with skills to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery. Graduates are ready to start their careers at the highest level, with knowledge in nursing, economics, informatics, education, and health policy. This terminal degree enables nurses to apply research to clinical practice at individual, population, and systems levels.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Our Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is designed to prepare students to apply advanced practice and critical thinking skills to provide holistic, family-centered primary care to populations. Graduates manage direct care of individuals experiencing acute and chronic health issues across their lifespans in a variety of ambulatory care settings as advanced practice nurses specializing in family nursing.

Leadership 

Emphasizing executive-level skills, this program is designed for nurses operating within healthcare systems, including education and administration. BSN to DNP students will gain the knowledge required to positively impact health outcomes by researching and applying new healthcare insights.

Psychiatric Mental Health

Our Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) program prepares nurses to be capable of diagnosing and treating mental health conditions across the lifespan. Blending hands-on clinical training, evidence-based coursework, and advanced psychopharmacology, graduates gain the expertise to care for individuals and families. Graduates will be prepared to continue study at the doctorate level if they choose.

How to ApplyAdmissions Requirements

  • Completed JU Application
  • Unofficial or Official Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
    • If the candidate attended a college or university abroad, an official NACES evaluation of that transcript is required. Choose the course-by-course evaluation with the GPA option.
    • Official transcripts should be sent to: documents@ju.edu
  • A minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA on a 4.0 scale is required
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited college/university with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
  • Graduation from a CCNE, NLN, or ACEN accredited nursing program
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • Statement of Intent
  • Active U.S. Nursing License
  • Out-of-state applicants must be eligible for endorsement in Florida
    • International students must hold a current license from a U.S. state and be eligible for endorsement in Florida.
       

The following may be requested of applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or below:

  • GRE/GMAT scores
  • Letters of Recommendation

International students will need to provide additional materials:

  • All international students whose first language is not English are required to submit proof of their proficiency in English, by providing scores for either: IELTS or TOEFL. If submitting score reports, they must be sent directly to 爆走黑料 from the testing institutions.
