Fall Faculty Conference

爆走黑料鈥檚 Fall Faculty Conference is held annually in the second week of August before classes begin. It brings faculty members and University leaders together for two days of preparation, collaboration, and professional growth. The program runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day and includes sessions on technology, research, teaching, and more. A keynote speaker anchors the program, and participants enjoy refreshments and lunch as they reconnect with colleagues and get ready for the academic year ahead!

PODs Event

PODs is a high-energy academic fair that occurs every October where 爆走黑料 students explore how to get the most out of their education. The event typically draws more than 250 first and second year students, 50+ volunteers (including those from Academic Advising, Career Management, Study Abroad, the Office of the Registrar) and faculty members representing each college. Here students have an opportunity to pair various majors and minors across disciplines, if they wish, without adding more time to earning their degree (). Every attendee receives a free PODs T-shirt and a meal ticket redeemable at one of several on-site food trucks.

Faculty Recognition Event

The Faculty Recognition event is held at the end of the spring semester and celebrates excellence in teaching, scholarship and professional activities, university and community service, years of service and retirements, adjunct faculty achievement, and Professor of the Year. The event also features a high-value raffle, open bar, refreshments, and professional photography.
