Student Research, Creative Activity & Scholarship Internal Funding Opportunities
The Student RCAS provide seed funding to support student-initiated research and scholarship. Competitive grants are awarded to assist graduate and undergraduate students in developing new lines of inquiry, which may include collecting and analyzing pilot data.
2026-2027 Application period opens July 1, 2026
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis from July 1 through Friday, November 20, 2026, or until available funds are exhausted - whichever occurs first. Awards will also be made on a rolling basis, with decisions typically issued within 10 business days. The project period will run from the date of award through May 1, 2027, and all funds must be expended by March 1, 2027.
